Are you ready to create change and make a LEAP?

Are you ready to make the leap? The leap. The leap out of average. The leap out of mediocrity. The leap out of whatever it is you need to leap out of. Or, the leap into whatever you need to leap into.
Everyone needs to leap. Everyone has to leap. Without a leap, you stand still.

The key is to leap. Running down the track like a long jumper, planting your foot and springing forward. Hurling yourself forward and landing. You may not break records. But you leaped. You may land awkward. But you leaped. You may get sand in your shoes, but you leaped. You may get dirty. But you leaped.

Self- Discipline: The Key To The Leap
There is power in self-discipline. Doing the things you don’t want to do. The small things. The things that are not urgrent but important. They don’t seem urgent but they change your life. They require discipline. The constant drip, drip, drip.
Boring. Monotonous. Necessary.
Self-Discipline: The act of disciplining or power to discipline one’s own feelings, desires, etc, with the intention of improving oneself.
To make the leap you need self-discipline. There are no short cuts. Society will tell you to wait. Something will come along. You don’t have to do all of that. Society is lying. Don’t listen.
The only short cut is decades of leaping. The overnight success started leaping 20 years ago. Quietly. Leaping. One leap at a time. Ten years later the leaps never stop. Success. Now keep leaping.
Leaping requires self-discipline. People aren’t born with self-discipline. It’s a shift in your thought process.
  1. Losing weight.
  2. Getting out of debt.
  3. Getting fit.
  4. Staying healthy.
  5. Having a great marriage.
  6. Raising a family.
  7. Becoming an expert.
  8. Influencing how people think.
These are all leaps. Great leaps. Leaps that matter. Leaps that change lives. Leaps that change family trees. None of them happen without self-discipline. Intentionally thinking and doing whatever the leap requires every day. Over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over.
Drip, drip, drip, drip, drip.
Leap.
You don’t have to leap. You don’t have to run down the track and plant your foot. You can stay. Choose not to run. Don’t plant your foot. Don’t leap.
That’s the easy decision. It doesn’t require self-discipline. You just exist. You don’t take the leap. Now what?
Everyone has a leap. You have a leap. It may be small. It may be audacious. It may be several leaps. Whatever your leap is, take it. Run and plant your foot.
Leap.
What’s your leap?
